Moles are mammals that eat insects. Because of that, some people
classify them as "rodents" (mice, rats, etc.). That is incorrect. The common mole is small, gray, and furry. Moles live underground
in holes just large enough for them to squeeze their small, fat bodies into. They are about 5-8 inches in length. On a mole's
head there is a long snout, but no ears. a mole's eyes are nearly undetectable. Its' front feet are great for digging, and
they rarely come out of their holes.
