When there are no humans around, the moles come out to play...

Moles are mammals that eat insects. Because of that, some people classify them as "rodents" (mice, rats, etc.). That is incorrect. The common mole is small, gray, and furry. Moles live underground in holes just large enough for them to squeeze their small, fat bodies into. They are about 5-8 inches in length. On a mole's head there is a long snout, but no ears. a mole's eyes are nearly undetectable. Its' front feet are great for digging, and they rarely come out of their holes.

Moles live in underground burrows usually in people's yards. Some people think that moles are pests. That depends on what kind of person you are. If you use your yard a lot, then you may not like moles digging holes for you to step in. But if you look on the other side, moles are completely harmless above ground and usually don't come out when there are people around. They also live on insects, so they are good for farmers and such.
